"A time for……..transformed identity"John Heine
The Six
Length:27 minutes
References:2 Corinthians 3:7-18
Deuteronomy 8:3
Matthew 4:4
Proverbs 2:1-5
Matthew 7:22-23
Reading 2 Corinthians ch3, v7 - 18, followed by a talk from Rev John Heine given during the St.Georges SIX service on 28th April 2019. Covenant identity is who you are, what you have, what you can do with it. Accept Jesus fully and you become a child of God, then feed your soul daily by reading the bible to hear God speak to you. Jesus says: I will (die for you) and you shall (be my child and I'll be your saviour). Memorising scripture improves prayer life, witnessing, and confidence in faith.

The Songs of Christmas: Simeon's and Anna's SongsJohn Heine
9.15am St George's
Length:19 minutes
References:1 Samuel 2:1-11
Luke 2:36-39
John closes our Christmas series with thoughts on Hannah and Anna's songs in relation to the new born children - Hannah's son Samuel, and Jesus. John also includes the well known words from Simeon. John compares Hannah and Anna and sees them as important prayer warriors in their very uncertain times. Both are God's distinct voice for their times. Their perseverance is to be an example and encouragement to us.
