August Mission Prayer Focus - Zion Harvest Mission

Bishop Nicholas OlooZion Harvest Mission in Kenya is led by Bishop Nicholas Oloo and supported financially by the Ashtead Church to enable them to reach out with the Good News of Jesus both spiritually and practically.

Most ZHM churches are in the poorer areas of the country, which makes it hard for even the Pastors to maintain an adequate standard of living for their own families. By working in these areas they are bringing much hope to the people in offering the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Zion Harvest Mission is now organised into 5 Regions, all of which receive an equal proportion of the funding sent by the Ashtead Church, helping to ensure that funds are used to meet local priorities.

The Leader of the Central Region, Joseph Kariuki, says: “Our funds were received with a lot of joy and appreciation. We thank everyone for their support. I take this opportunity to thank you for your support for our churches.”

Mission Administrator, John Ogombe, recently wrote: “Thank you for your prayers and text message that you sent to us during the Bumala Crusade. The meeting was very successful and many people gave their lives to Christ for the glory and honour of His name.”

Give thanks for:-
· The longstanding relationship with ZHM and the impact of the funds given by our church
· The recent evangelistic crusades and those who gave their lives to Chris

Please Pray for:-
· Bishop Nicholas Oloo as he continues to lead the Mission, supported by the Regional Leaders
· The Annual Conference to be held in Kisumu from August 19-22
· The adoption of a new Constitution, that will enable the Mission to build on its foundations in unity and strength
· New ways of developing future self-sustainability
· All Pastors and Evangelists as they reach out with the word & love of Jesus Christ, mainly to the poorer people in their districts
· All Outreach Initiatives, especially to the younger people
· The Pastors and their families, as most of them struggle with providing for their own needs, working in the poorer parts of Kenya
