What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun.
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
And it’s supported by all the main Christian denominations.
What’s involved?
The Alpha course looks at a series of topics, such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘How can I develop a relationship with God?’ After some good food and a short presentation, we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.
Alpha will be running on Wednesday nights at St George's Christian Centre, Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead. Beginning 13th Jan 2010. Why not just pop along for the first night and see what you think. No pressure.
Who is Alpha for?

Those wanting to investigate Christianity
New Christians
Newcomers to church
Those who want to brush up on the basics
No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
What will it cost?
There is no charge for the Alpha course.
