Welcome to the St George's 7pm Service

jamie

We are a lively, friendly congregation looking to support each other in growing close to God and following Jesus. We believe that as we seek God's face and ask for his presence that God makes himself known to us.

We meet each Sunday at 7pm to bring our worship to God in a relaxed, informal and very modern style - most of our music is very recent. We are
led by various worship bands and as a largely adult congregation we have the freedom to celebrate or be more reflective as God leads. We encourage active participation and commitment by all as they feel able and the use of spiritual gifts to build up the congregation.

Our aim is to encounter God who is real and active today on a deeper and deeper level and for that to affect our whole lives. We have teams willing to pray with anyone and for any purpose at every service based on listening to God for guidance and then praying in line with what we believe God is saying.

Members of our congregation usually join one of our home groups where they can get to know others better and have fun as they encourage and support each other in their walk with Jesus. Several times a year we meet jointly with our youth congregation LIFE in a Fusion Service where we aim to celebrate God's goodness in an even more contemporary way.

We are delighted when new people join us and find in us a home where they can grow and be supported in their Christian walk. Come and taste whether this is the place you need to be to grow closer to God.

We would love to welcome you.
